Synopsis

The book The Emotional Value of Light: Identity and Culture with contributions of  F. Lam, J. Wallace, H. Cybulska, V. Palacio, L. Tillet, K. Mansfield, and introduction by MJPinto Coelho, ed. FCT | Nova (2016), ISBN 978-972-8893-54-5, results from a Light Design event (The Emotional Value of Light: Identity and Culture, May 26th, 2016) that was  the first international seminar held in Portugal on the use of light as a design tool and esthetic element, and promoted by well recognized specialists from all over the world and the academia. We anticipate that this get together of experiences and ideas will attract different users in the field and also from related ones, including complementary disciplines. The book, in english, also include translations in Portuguese and Spanish.
