Embrace is body of work about lovers and the energy that is generated from the feeling of love.

It is art that comunicate this feelings in a delicate and profound way trough paintings, drawings and sculpture.

Embrace is something very rare in time of social distance, but at the same time it is the strongest desire and the deeper comfort, acceptance, and relief that two human beings can share.

I believe it is healing and meaningful to create a process trough my work that allow to contact the energy of embrace, to imagine it, to live it in a different way in times in which we are very restricted to experiment it in reality.

Claudia Piscitelli short CV

Claudia Piscitelli was born in Naples,1965. She studied drawing and painting at the New York Studio School, the International Academy of Art (RUFA) Rome, the International Summer School Saltzburg and the Slade University London.

Formerly a biologist she also holds a PhD in Genetics and a Specialty in Microbiology from University Federico II of Naples. She has exhibited in Naples, Rome,Umbria, London, New York, Paris and Lisbon.

Her work is in private and public collection such as Museo del Pio Monte della Misericordia in Naples, The Burghouse Museum in Hampstead London, Library FCT Universidade Nova de Lisboa and ITQB Lisbon.
